Envocore is Hiring a Licensed Electrical Journeyman!

Location: Colorado Springs, CO & Pueblo, CO
Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Envocore is looking for a Licensed Electrical Journeyman to join our skilled team focused on energy-efficient lighting installations across commercial sites in Colorado Springs and Pueblo. This is a hands-on, tool-focused role ideal for professionals who enjoy working in the field and being a critical part of transforming facilities into energy-efficient environments.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

  • Report daily to the Site Supervisor to receive assignments and project updates
  • Install and retrofit lighting fixtures, emergency lighting, compact fluorescents, exit signs, occupancy sensors, reflectors, and related components
  • Perform minor electrical work as needed
  • Use hand and power tools safely, including drills, table saws, and aerial lifts
  • Load/unload materials and stage equipment at job sites
  • Maintain personal hand tools and ensure proper care of maintenance equipment
  • Follow safety procedures and company standards for energy conservation projects

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Valid State of Colorado Electrical Journeyman License
  • Experience with commercial lighting systems and retrofits
  • Proficiency using electrical tools and working with wiring (color distinction required)
  • Ability to read and interpret ECM (Energy Conservation Measure) and price codes
  • Comfortable operating light construction and electrical equipment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Physical ability to perform demolition and installation tasks on ladders, lifts, etc.
