Volunteer State Community College, popularly known as Vol State, has campuses in Gallatin, Springfield, Livingston, and Cookeville. We have more than 100 areas of study in six academic divisions: Math and Science, Business and Technology, Humanities, Social Science and Education, Nursing, and Health Sciences. We offer day and evening classes in-person and a wide variety of online courses and programs.The college is a two-year, public institution offering pathways for university transfer and direct entry into the workplace. Our goal is to provide a comfortable and engaging environment for you to explore, learn, and succeed. We have free academic support programs both in-person and online.Students in their senior year in high school in Tennessee can apply for TN Promise and attend Vol State tuition-free.
