Title: Tier 1 Warehouse Worker Entry Level– Chick-fil-A

Classification: Non-Exempt – Hourly

Hourly Pay Rate: $22.00

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time associate position and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Associates are scheduled to work five, eight hour shifts per week and will be off on Saturday and Sunday. (See attached)

Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor

Key Interfaces: MAU branch personnel, MAU onsite management, Key Customer Personnel, and Corporate support.

Summary/Objective
The Production Associate will be responsible for completing processes, inspections and operating equipment related to the picking and packing of e-Commerce Chick-Fil-A product in a climate-controlled facility.

Essential Functions
  • Wear all required PPE in compliance with process standards (gloves or earplugs)
  • Maintain housekeeping standards in all work areas, warehouses and common areas to ensure the highest level of sanitation and safety.
  • Actively participated in daily communication meetings focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery and Process Improvement.
  • Complete all required audits, process reports and inspections as stated in Operator Standard Work.
  • Cross train in each production and warehouse process to include:
  • Warehouse order picking
  • Inventory scanning integrity at all required locations
  • Operating process equipment using human interface touch screens
  • Lock out/tag out required process equipment
  • Customer specific order picking and dock staging
  • Actively participate in safety and quality alerts
  • Replenishment of materials, supplies and components using powered pallet jack
  • Participate in waste reduction projects and lean process improvement
  • Actively participate in team events to drive a world class work environment

    Required Education and Experience
    • High School Diploma
    • Two to three years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
    • Familiar with Microsoft Office applications

    Work Environment or Working Conditions
    The working conditions and environments that are created by our customer’s facilities both in administrative areas and manufacturing environments. Working conditions will typically be manufacturing or warehouse settings that may include process manufacturing equipment and heavy power industrial vehicles.

    Physical Demands
    • Ability to stand for extended periods and walk up to 5 miles per day. 
    • Ability to lift 5- 20lbs periodically and 50lbs on occasion
