### **Key Responsibilities** **Hand Trimming & Manicuring** - Trim, manicure, and shape cannabis flower using scissors, both fresh (wet) and cured (dry) depending on facility needs. - Remove excess leaves, stems, and undesired plant material while maintaining the integrity of the flower. - Ensure each batch meets visual and weight quality standards. **Quality Control** - Inspect buds for mold, pests, and damage. - Maintain uniformity in size and shape across all trimmed flower. - Report any abnormalities or quality issues to the supervisor immediately. **Processing Tasks** - Separate and organize trim, smalls, and A/B-grade flower into designated containers. - Weigh and track all materials accurately throughout the shift. - Label, bag, and prepare product for the next stage (curing, packaging, etc.). **Production & Efficiency** - Meet daily trim weight and productivity goals. - Work efficiently while maintaining consistency and quality. - Follow all SOPs for hygiene, equipment use, and workflow. **Compliance & Facility Standards** - Follow all state compliance regulations, including proper waste handling and batch tracking. - Maintain a clean, organized workstation at all times. - Wear required PPE and follow sanitation protocols throughout the shift. **Teamwork & Communication** - Work collaboratively with the post-harvest team to meet production timelines. - Communicate clearly with leads or supervisors regarding status updates and any issues. - Support other post-harvest tasks (buck, hang, breakdown, clean-up) when needed. * * * ### **Skills & Qualifications** - Prior trimming experience preferred but not always required. - Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision. - Ability to sit or stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions. - Comfortable working in a production environment with handling large quantities of plant material. - Ability to meet productivity metrics while maintaining quality. - Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work scheduled shifts consistently. - Must meet all state requirements for working in the cannabis industry (badging, background checks, etc.). * * * ### **Shift & Work Environment** - Work may be performed sitting for extended periods or moving between stations. - Environment may require gloves, PPE, and working in dry, humid, or aromatic conditions. - Shifts are based on production needs and may vary week to week. **_About Vangst:_** _Vangst is the cannabis industry’s hiring platform.
