**Company:** Desert Evolution is a vertically integrated cannabis company obsessed with quality and wellness, and we are seeking a Trimmer and Burper for our Las Vegas, NV location. Our goal is to provide Nevada cannabis consumers with a growing portfolio of high-quality, premium branded cannabis products that are safe, reliable and trustworthy by combining our customer first focus with deep industry knowledge and state-of-the-art facilities. **Position Summary:** We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Burper and Trimmer to join our post-harvest team. This role plays a crucial part in the final stages of cannabis production by properly aerating and trimming dried flower to maintain product quality, aroma, potency, and visual appeal. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** **Trimming Duties:** ○ Hand-trim dried cannabis flower with precision and care to preserve trichomes and overall flower integrity ○ Maintain cleanliness and sharpness of tools throughout the shift ○ Meet daily and weekly trimming weight goals while upholding quality standards ○ Identify and separate usable product from trim and waste material ○ Ensure proper labeling and tracking of all batches and strains trimmed Burping Duties: ○ Monitor curing bins and containers and "burp" (open and aerate) them at scheduled intervals to release moisture and prevent mold or mildew ○ Record burping times and conditions (humidity, temperature) according to SOPs ○ Inspect flower regularly for signs of mold, mildew, or contamination and report any issues immediately ○ Assist in rotating containers for even curing and optimal product consistency **General Duties:** ○ Follow all safety, sanitation, and compliance guidelines per state and facility SOPs ○ Keep workstations clean and organized ○ Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors ○ Assist with other post-harvest tasks as needed (e.g., bucking, packaging, weighing, inventory checks) Qualifications: Must be 21 years of age or older and able to obtain/maintain a Nevada Cultivation Cannabis Agent Card **Experience:** Previous experience in cannabis trimming or post-harvest preferred but not required Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred **Physical Requirements:** Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks in varying environmental conditions (humidity, temperature), which includes exposure to loud noise, cannabis dust, and strong odors Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity Comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated, and evolving industry.
