### **Position Summary:** The Trim Technician is responsible for manicuring and preparing harvested cannabis flower for packaging and sale. This includes wet or dry trimming, depending on the operation’s process, and maintaining the highest quality and cleanliness standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and understands the importance of consistency in product presentation. * * * ### **Primary Duties:** * Hand-trim high-end cannabis directly off the stem * Maintain boutique-quality standards throughout the trimming process * Must be able to trim 1.5–2 lbs of flower per day while preserving product integrity * Trim cannabis flower to meet company and regulatory standards for aesthetics and quality * Handle product carefully to minimize loss and maintain trichome integrity * Accurately weigh and record trimmed product per batch * Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift * Identify and report any concerns related to product quality (e.g., mold, pests, contamination) * Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to compliance requirements * Willing to adapt and assist in other areas of post-harvest operations as needed * * * ### **Expectations:** * Strong reliability and daily attendance required * Must be flexible and willing to support various facility projects as needed * Ability to meet daily trimming quotas * Comfortable working in a fast-paced, repetitive task environment * Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude and open communication * * * ### **Requirements:** * Reliable and punctual * Experience with boutique cannabis trimming preferred * Previous cannabis trimming experience preferred but not required * Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail * Must be 21 years of age or older * Must be able to obtain and maintain any required state cannabis worker permits or badges * * * ### **Physical Demands:** * Repetitive motion, prolonged sitting or standing * Manual dexterity with trimming scissors and tools * Lifting up to 25 lbs as needed _About Vangst:_ _Vangst is the cannabis industry’s hiring platform.
