About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Tile Installer to join our growing team in the Charleston, WV area.

As a Tile Installer, you will work on residential and commercial projects, delivering high-quality tile and flooring installations with precision and attention to detail.

This is a full-time, year-round position with steady work and the opportunity to collaborate with a talented team of tradespeople.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, finish, and repair various tile and flooring components in residential and commercial settings

• Prepare and level surfaces to ensure durability and quality finish

• Cut, shape, and fit tile using hand and power tools

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics

• Work with ceramic, porcelain, stone, vinyl tile, and other flooring materials

• Apply adhesives, grout, and sealants properly for lasting installations

• Maintain a clean and organized worksite

• Follow industry safety standards and company policies

• Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects efficiently

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors about project progress

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Proven tile and flooring installation experience

• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools required for tile work

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship

• Physical strength and stamina for manual labor and lifting materials

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with advanced layout techniques

• Experience with other flooring types (e.g. hardwood, laminate)

• Knowledge of industry safety regulations and best practices

Schedule

• Full-time — no less than 40 hours per week

• 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday

• Overtime as needed

• Year-round work (not seasonal)
