Team Lead – OnTrac / Indeed Flex (Temporary Position)
Temporary through January 9th, 2026
Main Purpose
The Team Lead serves as the onsite representative responsible for supporting the start, duration, and end of each shift for temporary associates. This role ensures smooth workforce operations, accurate timekeeping, and consistent communication between temporary associates, OnTrac Operators, and the Client Success Manager (CSM). The Team Lead helps maintain a safe, efficient, and productive environment during high-volume operations.
Working Hours
Candidates must be available for rotating or variable schedules, including evenings, early mornings, and weekends, based on business needs.
Responsibilities & Duties
Start of Shift
Welcome and direct temporary associates to the time clock as the onsite Indeed Flex representative
Support clock-in processes and verify accurate timekeeping before workers enter the warehouse floor
Assist associates with questions about assignments, expectations, and procedures
Provide additional support for associates with language barriers or understanding of safety protocols
Escalate attendance or fulfillment issues to the CSM
Allow OnTrac Operators to focus on operational priorities by handling worker readiness tasks
During Shift
Monitor temporary associates to ensure they remain onsite and engaged
Address or escalate any incidents of workers leaving early or missing from post
Serve as the main point of contact for onsite escalations or workforce concerns
Track lunch breaks and report discrepancies to ensure accurate timesheet processing
End of Shift
Confirm proper clock-out for all associates and ensure they take their belongings
Respond to end-of-shift questions from workers or operators, escalating when needed
Review and verify daily attendance for accurate reporting in the client portal
Identify and flag No Call/No Show (NCNS) workers to restrict future shift bookings as appropriate
Qualifications & Skills
1–2 years of team leadership, staffing, or warehouse experience preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to interact effectively with diverse groups
Reliable, punctual, adaptable to fast-paced environments
Familiarity with timekeeping or workforce management tools (preferred)
High level of technical competence and willingness to learn new tools
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with ability to address complicated issues
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with limited supervision
Bilingual or multilingual abilities strongly preferred
