### **Personnel Labor Associate (Cannabis Facility)** **Job Title:** Personnel Labor Assistant – Greenhouse & Pack House **Department:** Operations * * * ### **Position Summary:** The Personnel Labor Assistant oversees labor crews in their designated areas, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and production goals set by GHF. This position is responsible for onboarding, training, monitoring daily labor performance, ensuring sanitary and safe working conditions, and supporting employee access to essential facilities and needs. * * * ### **Key Responsibilities:** * Onboard new employees on their first day, introducing them to their work area, leads, and supervisors. * Monitor and supervise labor crews to ensure adherence to SOPs and production expectations. * Maintain a visible presence in designated work areas for at least 90% of the workday. * Work the same schedule as the crew to provide consistent support. * Track individual and group productivity; report variances to management. * Provide real-time coaching and guidance to employees not following procedures or meeting targets. * Motivate the team and participate in performance reviews. * Ensure all workers have consistent access to: * Clean and sanitary restrooms * Handwashing stations * Adequate eating areas * Conduct routine inspections of: * Break areas * Restrooms * Other employee facilities to ensure cleanliness and accessibility * Support and enforce safety protocols; immediately address unsafe behaviors or conditions. * Assist with coordinating: * Shift start times * Breaks * Rotations to promote optimal workflow * Collaborate with supervisors to address: * Attendance issues * Behavioral concerns * Performance challenges * Report supply or facility deficiencies to the appropriate department. * Serve as a liaison between employees, labor contractors, and management to elevate concerns or suggest improvements. * * * ### **Minimum Qualifications:** * High school diploma or equivalent; supervisory or agricultural experience preferred. * 2+ years of experience in greenhouse, agricultural, or pack house environments. * Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate and hold employees accountable. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. * Knowledge of production processes and labor management in greenhouse or pack house settings. * Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. * Ability to stand, walk, and remain in assigned areas for 90%+ of the workday. * Basic proficiency with workplace technology, such as: * Tablets * Timekeeping systems * Digital checklists * * * ### **Work Environment:** * Primarily works in greenhouses and enclosed structures (pack houses). * Regular exposure to variable temperatures, humidity, dust, and other environmental conditions. * Must be able to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods.
