Supply Chain Analyst IV

Job Description: Summary:
The main function of a Supply Chain Analyst is to define, build, manage and measure global asset management. A typical Supply Chain Analyst may be responsible for buying goods and services, and analtse performance of suppliers.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead the technical development of innovative inventory planning and logistics processes
Review and potentially optimize suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability and other relevant factors.
Own the end-to-end asset management process and systems globally
Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products
Drive automation on an aggressive timeline with a team of world-class engineers and designers
Develop and maintain a well-coordinated internal relationship with key decision makers and with the wider enterprise organization
Approve purchases of the highest quality products at the lowest possible price and in correct amounts.
Approve purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services.
Instruct staff on how to resolve problems related to undelivered goods.
Instruct staff on methods of negotiation, renegotiation and administration of contracts with suppliers, vendors and other representatives.
Confer with staff, users, and vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective action.
Evaluate and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to determine need for changes.
Skills:
Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, negotiation skills and interpersonal skills.
Expert ability to analyze financial reports, price proposals and other technical data.
Expert ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.
Expert leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
Expert knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to purchasing.
Expert knowledge of supply chain management.
Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in finance or a related business field required.
