Description

As a Shop Foreman at Orion Talent, you'll play a vital role in overseeing the daily operations of our shop. You'll coordinate and supervise a team of skilled workers, ensuring that all equipment diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance are completed efficiently and effectively. A typical day includes leading morning briefings, reviewing job specifications, overseeing staff performance, managing customer service inquiries, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Your leadership will help foster a positive working environment and drive our team's success.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of experience in a related field.
• Training at a vocational or technical trade school or participation in training seminars in the Commercial Turf Industry is preferred.
• Minimum High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
• Ability to comprehend specifications outlined in manuals and read measuring devices such as dial indicators, calipers, feeler gauges, and scales.
• Advanced knowledge of equipment diagnostics, repair, and maintenance processes.
• Strong leadership abilities complemented by good administrative skills.
• A solid mechanical background.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with customers and team members.
• Outstanding customer service abilities.

Nice to Have

• Experience in team management or mentoring.
• Proficiency with software related to equipment management or diagnostics.
• Familiarity with safety compliance regulations in the workplace.
• Knowledge of inventory management and procurement processes.
