Service Representative

Summary

A Service Representative will work to maintain customer satisfaction by managing bin inventory and delivering product to their location. They will promote a work culture that represents the organization’s vison, mission, and values.

The Service Representative will provide service and delivery of product to customers in the Whitewater, WI area. 

Essential Functions

  • Service and/or deliver product to maintain customers
  • Scan and download product the same day and service according to customer needs
  • Make changes to schematics to ensure bin management system is properly maintained
  • Write up credits promptly and accurately
  • Document and problem solve customer issues to maintain customer’s satisfaction
  • Keep appropriate team members informed on any/all customer issues
  • Complete CMSP notes within the same business week
  • Assist and maintain set up of bin management systems as needed
  • All other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Product knowledge is a plus
  • Customer service skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to follow through on project completion

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Valid driver’s license

Work Environment

This job operates in a customer manufacturing environment. This role may routinely use equipment such as scanners, forklifts, utility knives, ladders, machinery, and tape guns. Employees may be exposed to bright lighting, blue light (i.e., computer screens), repetitive low to mid volume sounds (i.e., forklift traffic, packaging machines, etc.), warm and cool temperatures, and various metals and plastics.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly standing. The employee will need to have the ability to move and lift up to 70 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. This job will require the ability to push, pull, stoop, crouch, kneel, and reach when necessary.

Travel

Frequent local travel to customer locations but may occasionally be required to travel with overnight stays.
