Description

As a Server at WorkWhile, you will be the face of the dining experience, providing excellent service to ensure guests feel welcomed and cared for. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, taking orders accurately, delivering food and beverages promptly, and anticipating guest needs throughout their meal. You will also maintain a clean and organized service area, follow proper service etiquette, and work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to keep service running smoothly. By creating a positive and professional atmosphere, you will play a key role in delivering memorable experiences for every guest.

Requirements

• Hands-on Experience: Previous experience as a server, banquet server, or in a food service setting.

• Service Skills: Ability to carry trays, serve multiple guests, and manage orders efficiently.

• Food & Beverage Knowledge: Understanding of menu items, basic wine and beverage pairings, and ability to explain options clearly.

• Team Player: Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with kitchen and bar staff.

• Professionalism: Ability to maintain a polished and guest-focused demeanor under pressure.

Nice to Have

• Banquet or Catering Experience: Familiarity with Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) or formal event service.

• Upscale Service Skills: Knowledge of formal service etiquette, such as serving from the left and clearing from the right.

• Customer Service Excellence: Strong conflict-resolution skills and ability to handle guest concerns with empathy and professionalism.

• Flexibility: Ability to adapt between casual service and formal dining settings.
