Overview

Epicor is looking for a skilled and proactive Senior Server Administrator to join our hybrid team in Austin, TX. In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining and optimizing Epicor’s global infrastructure — with a focus on identity management, Microsoft 365 administration, virtualization, and system security.

You’ll support both internal and customer-facing applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams across Austin, Irvine, and remote offices. This is a hands-on opportunity to work with cutting-edge enterprise technologies and contribute directly to Epicor’s ongoing innovation in ERP and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain identity and access management systems (Azure AD, MFA, SSO).

• Manage Microsoft 365 services including Teams, OneDrive, and the Office suite.

• Support virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.

• Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly to infrastructure incidents.

• Collaborate with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.

• Contribute to security and compliance efforts (SOX, audits, reporting).

• Assist in upcoming projects, including VMware to Hyper-V migration and ServiceNow automation.

• Document system processes and share knowledge across the IT team.

Requirements

• Proven experience with identity management (authentication, SSO, MFA, Azure AD).

• Strong background in Microsoft 365 administration (Teams, OneDrive, Office suite).

• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).

• Hands-on experience with physical infrastructure — servers, storage, and networking.

• PowerShell scripting skills.

• Solid understanding of IAM concepts and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure certification (e.g., AZ-104).

• Experience with automation tools (Python scripting, ServiceNow).

• Knowledge of Teams administration in multi-geo enterprise environments.

• Exposure to hybrid environments, including on-prem Active Directory.

• Familiarity with Nutanix AHV.
