Sr. Maintenance Technician – Costa Farms

💲 $22–$27/hour (based on experience)

Join the Costa Farms team and help maintain the equipment that powers one of the largest horticultural growers in the world. As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you'll take the lead on equipment repairs, preventive maintenance, and process improvements that ensure our facilities run smoothly year-round.

🛠️ What You’ll Do

• Inspect equipment and machinery for signs of wear, damage, or failure

• Diagnose mechanical issues and determine appropriate repairs

• Use blueprints and manuals to guide repair work

• Order and organize necessary parts and supplies

• Clean and lubricate machinery for optimal performance

• Maintain shop area, tools, and spare parts inventory

• Document repairs and machine issues

• Collaborate with engineers and product managers on equipment modifications

• Train and mentor junior technicians

• Safely operate industrial vehicles (forklifts, skid steers, tractors)

• Work both indoors and outdoors throughout the year

✅ What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)

• Vocational training or related coursework (preferred)

• Experience with carpentry, mechanical, and plumbing systems

• Ability to read technical documents and follow SOPs

• Skilled in the safe use of hand and power tools

• Ability to work at heights up to 30’ using proper PPE

• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor
