We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our growing Applications Development team in Tampa, FL.
In this role, you will help design, implement, and enhance modern enterprise-level Java applications. You will contribute to systems analysis, coding, testing, debugging, and application security, while collaborating closely with technology teams and business users.
Ideal candidates will have strong full stack Java experience, expertise in Spring, Hibernate, Web Services, and a solid understanding of enterprise design patterns and PL/SQL.

Utilize Java full stack development skills to build and enhance enterprise applications
Analyze application requirements and recommend system enhancements
Use script tools and perform code analysis
Consult with users, clients, and technology partners on technical issues
Design, implement, and support Web Services, Spring/Hibernate-based solutions
Identify and resolve application vulnerabilities and security issues
Conduct testing and debugging of applications
Act as advisor/coach to junior and mid-level developers
Identify problems and implement effective technical solutions
Work with limited supervision while exercising sound technical judgment
Serve as SME for key systems when interfacing with senior stakeholders and partners
Support compliance with applicable laws, policies, and ethical standards
4–7 years professional Java full stack development experience
Strong experience with Spring, Hibernate, Web Services
Solid understanding of Java enterprise design patterns
Experience with PL/SQL and relational database concepts
Experience managing and delivering successful software projects
Proven ability to take technical ownership of development efforts
Knowledge of dependency management, change management, CI/CD testing tools
Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
Prior leadership experience mentoring or coaching other developers
Familiarity with audit and compliance requirements for financial systems
Knowledge of application security best practices
Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with cloud-based architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Exposure to agile development methodologies
Experience working in global or enterprise environments
Full-time, on-site in Tampa, FL
Monday–Friday, typical business hours
Some flexibility and occasional overtime based on project timelines
Estimated $110,000–$140,000/year, depending on experience
