Description

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Doodle, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our backend systems that power the world’s easiest online scheduling service. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include designing and developing high-performance applications, collaborating closely with other engineers, and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our services. You will also have opportunities to explore new technologies and implement innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in Java (preferably with Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Security)
• Experience with Node.js and messaging systems such as Kafka
• High-performance SQL skills and experience with an ORM (e.g., Hibernate)
• Familiarity with Docker and container-based architecture
• AI-assisted coding experience is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with frameworks like Nest.js or Next.js
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for developing scalable systems
