Our client in Dallas, Texas is seeking a dedicated 3rd Shift Building Engineer to join their team on a direct hire basis.

About the Company:

• Located in Dallas, TX
• Offers an organized and professional work environment
• Manages a small office within a large property building
• Working hours: Tuesday - Saturday from 11 PM to 7 AM (3rd shift/overnight)

Responsibilities of the 3rd Shift Building Engineer:

• Perform preventive maintenance and general repairs on mechanical, plumbing, electrical, structural, HVAC, life safety, and control systems
• Monitor and maintain various building equipment
• Oversee lighting systems and necessary retrofits
• Utilize CMMS for equipment tracking and work orders
• Respond promptly to tenant service requests
• Supervise work completed by outside vendors and contractors
• Proactively inspect the property's interior and exterior
• Maintain inventory of maintenance tools, parts, and supplies
• Support other engineers with daily tasks and inspections
• Participate in emergency response procedures and safety training
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards

Requirements for the 3rd Shift Building Engineer:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in building operations or maintenance
• Knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems
• Proficiency in CMMS, Microsoft Office, and basic computer applications
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and maintenance best practices
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair building equipment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• High-rise or Class A commercial building experience is a plus
• HVAC technical training and EPA refrigeration certification preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• Physical ability to lift/move heavy objects and perform various tasks
• Strong attendance record and punctuality
