We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Technician to join our team of experienced professionals.
Position Summary
Harvey W. Hottel, Inc. is seeking an experienced and driven HVAC Technician to join our growing Commercial Service Team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of commercial HVAC systems, including boilers, chillers, cooling towers, rooftop units, and split systems. Experience with Distech Controls is a plus. This position is best suited for a technician with strong leadership qualities, advanced troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to delivering top-tier service and customer satisfaction. Candidates should also possess a valid journeyman license (master license preferred) and demonstrate a high level of professionalism and technical expertise in the field.

Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent (required); technical degree or HVAC certification (preferred).
• Valid journeyman license or 5+ years of verifiable commercial HVAC field experience.
• Strong technical background with boilers, chillers, cooling towers, rooftop units, and split systems.
• Master HVAC license or willingness to obtain (preferred).
• EPA certification for refrigerant handling (required).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent mechanical, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls efficiently.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and a strong work ethic with a focus on safety.
• Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in varied environmental conditions.
