Description
As a Licensed Electrician at Apex Service Partners, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our electrical systems. Your day will be filled with exciting challenges such as installing and maintaining electrical wiring, troubleshooting issues, and executing plans for various electrical systems, ensuring they function flawlessly. You will work both independently and as part of a dedicated team, making a positive impact on our customer's homes and businesses.
Requirements
- Journeyman electrician certification is a must.
- Proximity: Must reside within 20 miles of Elmhurst.
- Knowledge: Thorough understanding of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines in the electrical field.
Nice to Have
- Experience executing plans for electrical wiring to ensure well-functioning lighting, intercom, and other electrical systems.
- Ability to install electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment, including alarm systems.
- Familiarity with safety and distribution components, such as switches, resistors, and circuit-breaker panels.
- Skills in connecting wiring in electrical circuits and networks, ensuring compatibility of components.
- Experience in preparing and assembling conduits and connecting wiring through them.
- Ability to prevent system breakdowns by routinely inspecting, replacing old wiring, and cleaning circuits.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or replace damaged units.
