Seafood Department Manager

Our client in Cincinnati, Ohio is currently seeking a dedicated Seafood Department Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain full and fresh seafood cases, both fresh and prepackaged
• Collaborate with seafood staff to oversee daily operations and prioritize customer satisfaction
• Drive sales performance, monitor financial outcomes, and uphold department standards
• Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge and proficient hand tool skills, including knife techniques
• Manage inventory levels by ordering merchandise to ensure freshness and adequate stock levels
• Execute product merchandising strategies to enhance visual appeal and customer engagement
• Utilize sales data to optimize production output and minimize shrink
• Utilize sales, profit, and trend analysis reports to inform purchasing decisions
• Provide training and mentorship to department employees
• Comply with health, safety, and company policies and regulations
• Support company directives and marketing campaigns in collaboration with leadership

Qualifications:

• Minimum age of 18
• High school diploma or GED and a minimum of two years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of experience and education
• Manager Food Safety certification mandatory
• Food Handler certification required
