Description

As a School Bus Driver at First Student, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of students as they travel to and from school. Your day will typically begin with a pre-trip inspection of the bus, followed by picking up students from designated stops. You will create a friendly and safe atmosphere on the bus, ensuring students are seated and adhering to safety regulations. After dropping off students, you may have time for a break before heading back for afternoon pickups. Each day, you will contribute to building a positive community around student transportation while ensuring everyone arrives safely.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license for at least 3 years.

Nice to Have

• Experience driving larger vehicles, such as buses or trucks.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students and parents.
• Ability to assist students with special needs.
