Salesforce CPQ Specialist: Level 1

We are seeking a Salesforce CPQ Contractor with specific experience supporting SaaS quoting processes. This role will focus on configuring and optimizing quote creation for subscription-based software offerings, ensuring accuracy in pricing, renewals, ramp deals, and contract terms. You will work closely with Sales, RevOps, and Finance teams to streamline quote generation and improve time-to-close.
Day to Day Role & Responsibility
o Configure Salesforce CPQ to support SaaS subscription models, including NRR/GRR, seat-based pricing, term lengths, and tiered discounting.
o Support quote creation workflows for sales reps, including quote templates, automated approvals
o Build and manage quote templates.
o Collaborate with the Sales, Customer Success, and other teams to align to the quote creation process.
Years of Experience
o 2 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ, specifically in a SaaS environment.
o Deep understanding of SaaS pricing models, renewals, and contract lifecycle management.
o Experience configuring multi-year deals, subscription cycles, and automated renewals in Salesforce CPQ.
o Familiarity with Salesforce Sales Cloud
o Strong communication skills and ability to translate business needs into technical configurations.
o Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Education/Experience:
o Excellent attention to detail
o Salesforce CPQ Specialist Certification.
o Experience with contract management tools.
o Knowledge of revenue recognition rules, finance compliance, and audit processes.
o Prior work on CPQ projects for B2B SaaS companies.

o Must be able to work EST or CST time zone
