Residential Property Manager
· Leadership & Team Development
· Lead, mentor, and develop the residential leasing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
· Create and implement structured training and professional development programs to build staff competencies and promote career growth.
· Set clear individual and team performance goals aligned with company objectives; monitor progress through regular performance reviews and data-driven metrics.
· Provide real-time coaching and feedback to enhance team effectiveness and motivation.
· Model professional excellence and empower employees to deliver an exceptional resident experience.
· Operational Excellence & Strategic Management
· Oversee all aspects of residential property operations—including leasing, renewals, and resident relations—through effective delegation and team leadership.
· Partner with the Director of Residential Housing and Maintenance leadership to plan and execute property improvements, budgeting priorities, and long-term operational strategies.
· Utilize AppFolio and other technology platforms to ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient property management operations.
· Establish, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for occupancy, rent growth, retention, and resident satisfaction; use data insights to inform decision-making and drive results.
· Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal housing regulations and Fair Housing laws.
· Resident Experience & Relationship Management
· Lead the team in delivering a high-quality resident experience that supports retention and a positive community reputation.
· Oversee the resolution of escalated resident concerns and disputes, ensuring fair, timely, and satisfactory outcomes.
· Collaborate with ownership and leadership teams to optimize financial performance while maintaining resident satisfaction and operational excellence.
· Performance & Accountability
· Build a results-oriented culture grounded in transparency, data-driven goals, and personal accountability.
· Evaluate and adjust team strategies to ensure continuous improvement in leasing performance and operational efficiency.
· Prepare and present performance reports to leadership, highlighting successes, opportunities, and strategic recommendations.
