Registered Nurse - Pediatrics

Location: A prestigious hospital in New Brunswick, NJ has immediate needs for Registered Nurses to work in Pediatrics.

Details:

• Type: 13 weeks Contract
• Schedule: Night 4×12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30)
• Location: New Brunswick, NJ

Requirements:

• NJ State or compact RN License required
• BSN required
• RN must have 1+ years of experience
• BLS, PALS required
• Experience with patient mix: Med/surg adolescents 12-21 years, occasionally 7-10 years
• Float between all areas in BMSCH and PICU for medical-surgical assignments, Pediatrics, Adolescents, and Special Care Nursery (growers/feeders)
• Must have experience with IV pumps, pulse oximetry, cardiac monitoring

Skill Requirements:

• IVs, TPN, G-tube, trach, central lines, foley catheters, NG tubes
• Respiratory treatments, transfusions, pre and post-op care

Patient Ratio:

• 1:5 ; 1:2 ; 1:3 if floated

Charting System:

• EPI
