💰 Sign-On Bonus:

• Up to $15,000 for RNs with 1+ year of specialty experience

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Progressive Care (Step-Down Unit), you’ll be part of a team dedicated to improving the health and well-being of every patient we serve.

You will serve as a vital bridge between the Medical-Surgical and Intensive Care units, providing comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring advanced monitoring and support.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments and develop individualized care plans

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate treatment and discharge planning

• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications safely in accordance with state laws and hospital policies

• Act as a patient safety advocate, identifying and reporting potential risks

• Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients and families

• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives

• Assist with medical emergencies, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions

• Adhere to all hospital and departmental safety and compliance standards

Requirements

• Current RN License in the State of Ohio (or compact state licensure)

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification preferred at hire (must obtain within 6 months)

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required

• 6+ months acute care hospital experience preferred

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not required

• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
