Location: Anderson Hospital – 7500 State Road, Cincinnati, OH 45255
Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Shift: Nights

💰 Sign-On Bonus:
Up to $15,000 for RNs with 1+ year of specialty experience
Up to $10,000 for New Grad RNs
Overview

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Progressive Care (Step-Down Unit), you’ll be part of a team dedicated to improving the health and well-being of every patient we serve.
You will serve as a vital bridge between the Medical-Surgical and Intensive Care units, providing comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring advanced monitoring and support.
Responsibilities
Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate treatment and discharge planning
Monitor patient conditions and administer medications safely in accordance with state laws and hospital policies
Act as a patient safety advocate, identifying and reporting potential risks
Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients and families
Maintain accurate documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Assist with medical emergencies, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions
Adhere to all hospital and departmental safety and compliance standards
Requirements
Current RN License in the State of Ohio (or compact state licensure)
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification preferred at hire (must obtain within 6 months)
Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
6+ months acute care hospital experience preferred
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not required
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
