Air Controls-Billings, Montana's Premier Refrigeration Contractor, is seeking skilled Refrigeration Service Technicians to join our team of experts!

Our technicians are the provider of choice for most of the grocery stores, warehouses, commercial buildings, and restaurants with refrigeration systems in the region. With our ongoing growth of 20% each of the last 5 years. We’re offering opportunities for skilled technicians to join and grow with our thriving and dynamic team! Our technicians provide the high-quality service, installation, diagnosis, and repairs that our customers deserve and are the primary communication link between the client and our company. Our teams of technicians range from 1yr to 35yrs experience with an average tenure of 7.5 years.

As a member of our team in addition to $24.00-$45.00 per hour, DOE.  You will also enjoy the benefits of company paid medical, dental, and vision plans. PTO, continuing education, a company vehicle and profit sharing.  Retirement and medical plans are provided through our Union Signatories.

Work Description:

As a Refrigeration technician you will be Installing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing the types of systems listed and their related components 

• Supermarkets, Grocery Stores and small commercial refrigeration, including Walk-Ins and Ice Machines

• Self-contained refrigeration units

• DDC Controls (Danfoss, Emerson CPC, etc.)

• The service area is primarily a 150-mile radius of Billings.

Opportunities to expand your knowledge into:

• Commercial HVAC equipment AHU's, RTU's, and MAU's. 

• Residential HVAC

• Water source Heat pumps

• Cooling towers and Boilers

• Kitchen cooking equipment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test

• Experience is preferred, but apprenticeship or trade school will be considered

• Work experience with references from past employers

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Strong communication skills

• Mechanical aptitude

• Ability to pass a comprehensive drug test

• A neat/clean appearance

• Strong work ethic

• Self-motivated and dependable

• Willingness to travel when needed
