Quality Manager
Our client, based in the DFW Metro area, is currently in search of a skilled and proactive Quality Manager to oversee the quality operations within a manufacturing facility. This position offers a Direct Hire opportunity.
Role Overview:
- Lead the quality assurance and quality control functions across all shifts to ensure products meet customer specifications, internal standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement by actively engaging in plant floor operations.
- Manage the Quality Department, overseeing inspectors, technicians, and lab personnel.
- Ensure adherence to quality processes, including inspections, audits, and final inspections.
- Identify and resolve quality concerns in real time, collaborating with production teams as needed.
- Enhance quality systems related to production processes and implement corrective actions for non-conformances.
- Act as the primary point of contact for quality-related issues, returns, and audits with customers.
- Analyze quality data to drive improvements in scrap reduction, customer complaints, and process capability.
- Maintain quality documentation and support internal/external audits for compliance.
- Develop and engage the quality team through training and performance feedback.
Background Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years of quality leadership experience in a manufacturing setting
- Proficient in quality tools such as 8D, Fishbone, SPC, and FMEA
- Experience with ISO 9001 or similar quality systems
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead effectively across all organizational levels
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is advantageous
- Hands-on role requiring regular presence on the production floor
- Flexibility for off-shift or weekend work to support operations
