### Production Technician Description As a Production Technician, you’ll be an essential part of the process of turning raw cannabis flower into our client’s high-quality line of cannabis products. Under the guidance of the management team, you will produce, package, and handle products, perform inventory duties, adhere to compliance requirements, and keep safety as your top priority while working daily in our facility. Our client is looking for true team players who are the perfect hybrid between precision and energy. **Essential Functions** - Deliver daily production goals while focusing on safety and quality. - Produce high-quality products following our client’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). - Package products and place labels in compliance with state regulations. - Operate basic machinery. - Adhere to quality control methods throughout the entire process. - Manage time efficiently to meet goals while consistently producing quality products. - Maintain cleanliness of workstations. - Work with cannabis in all stages and forms of the plant. - Help create a positive environment by bringing a positive attitude and being self-motivated. - Perform other duties as assigned. **Safety & Compliance** - Remain aware of hazards in the workspace. - Retain and understand department-specific training. - Report safety incidents/concerns and comply with follow-up actions. - Adhere to all safety requirements, state regulations, and PPE standards. - Follow GMP, biosecurity, sanitation, and other quality/compliance requirements. - Accurately complete required recordkeeping as directed by a lead or supervisor. - Maintain and calibrate tools, equipment, and machinery as directed. - Report and escalate safety and quality concerns. **Working Conditions** - Regularly required to reach, grasp, bend, stoop, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions. - Must be able to climb ladders and/or stairs and work from elevated platforms. - Sit and/or stand for extended periods while maintaining focus. - Lift, carry, and balance up to 50 pounds (and up to 100 pounds with assistance), exercising extreme care when working with product. - Work in an environment that may reach 85+ degrees and 70% humidity for extended periods. - Work at heights as required. - Adapt to a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment. - Daily exposure to allergens (including cannabis, tree nuts, and coconut oil). **Qualifications** - High school diploma or GED required. - Effective time-management skills with the ability to multi-task. - Strong teamwork skills while also able to complete individual tasks. **Additional Requirements** - Must be at least 21 years of age. - Must possess a valid state-issued ID. - Must be able to obtain and maintain state badging requirements to work in the cannabis industry (requires background check and state review). **_About Vangst:_** _Vangst is the cannabis industry's hiring platform.
