As a **Production Technician**, you will play a key role in the manufacturing process, ensuring that each product meets the company’s exceptional quality standards while maintaining compliance with state regulations. You will be part of a passionate, detail-oriented team dedicated to creating the purest cannabis products on the market. ### **About the Role** Production Technicians are responsible for assisting in the manufacturing and production of cannabis products for licensed stores throughout Colorado. This role requires speed, accuracy, and a dedication to quality, ensuring every product reflects the company’s mission and values. From processing raw materials to packaging the final product, you will serve as the critical link between cultivation and the retail shelf. ### **Key Responsibilities** - Assist with all stages of production, including pre-processing, post-processing, extraction, formulation, and packaging. - Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance and consistency. - Maintain accurate and detailed production records. - Operate lab, extraction, and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. - Maintain a sanitary, organized, and safe laboratory environment. - Manage and update inventory of chemicals, ingredients, and supplies. - Prepare plant material and equipment for extraction processes. - Support product research and development (R&D) initiatives. - Package, label, and inspect finished products for quality assurance. - Assist with clerical tasks related to concentrate lab and edible kitchen operations. - Maintain lab safety standards and follow all applicable safety protocols. ### **Qualifications** - Basic knowledge of cannabis production processes. - Ability to stand or remain active for up to 10-hour shifts. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment. - Strong attention to detail and ability to balance efficiency with quality. - Professional, punctual, and dependable. - Previous success in a similar production or manufacturing role. - Must hold an active Colorado MED Employee Badge. - Must have ServSafe Food Handler’s Certification. - Consistent attendance and reliability are essential. ### **Working Conditions** - Indoor, climate-controlled work environment (cool temperatures). - Frequent standing; comfortable, supportive footwear required. - Hairnets, gloves, eyewear, and other protective gear required. **_About Vangst:_** _Vangst is the go-to talent marketplace for cannabis businesses, providing on-demand gig workers and full-time employees with the skills and credentials needed to succeed in this rapidly-growing industry.
