Start your new career as a Flexographic Press Operator with MAU at a leading packaging manufacturer in Hapeville, GA. As a Flexographic Press Operator, you will set up, operate, and maintain flexo printing presses to produce high-quality labels and ensure efficient pressroom operations.

What We’re Looking For: 

  • 1–3 years of experience operating flexographic or similar web-fed printing presses (Mark Andy, Nilpeter, Gallus, Comco, etc.) 

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills 

  • Basic knowledge of color matching, ink handling, and print registration 

  • Ability to read job tickets, artwork proofs, and measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, gauges) 

  • Excellent attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork 

  • Preferred but not required: 

  • Experience with UV or water-based inks 

  • Knowledge of die-cutting, lamination, or slitting operations 

  • Familiarity with Water Wash Plate Technology or Direct-to-Plate systems

What You’ll Do as a Flexographic Press Operator: 

  • Set up and run narrow-web flexographic printing presses (up to 9 colors) 

  • Prepare printing jobs including plate mounting, ink mixing, and substrate loading 

  • Thread web through press stations, dryers, and die-cut units 

  • Monitor and maintain print quality, registration, and color consistency 

  • Perform inline finishing such as laminating, varnishing, and die-cutting 

  • Clean press components and maintain ink viscosity 

  • Accurately record production data (run time, waste, materials used) 

  • Follow all safety, quality, and environmental protocols
