Position Overview:
The President / VP of Operations is a strategic and operational leader responsible for overseeing the day-to-day execution of our multi-unit residential & commercial plumbing and HVAC operations. This role requires a proven track record managing P&L over $100 million, deep industry expertise, and proficiency with ServiceTitan and Sage Intact software. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on Implementer within the EOS model, ensuring that strategic vision translates into operational results, accountability, and a high-performance culture. Additionally, experience leading into a successful private equity transaction is essential, including familiarity with preparing the organization for acquisition, due diligence processes, and post-transaction integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Leadership: Lead, develop, and optimize the company’s residential & commercial plumbing and HVAC operations across multiple locations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met or exceeded.

• Strategic Execution: Translate the company’s vision and strategic plan into actionable goals, utilizing the EOS model, with a focus on disciplined execution and continuous improvement.

• Financial Management: Oversee P&L management, budgets, and financial forecasting, ensuring revenue targets of over $100 million plus are achieved with optimal profit margins.

• Team Development: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing leadership team and field staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.

• Software and Technology: Utilize ServiceTitan to streamline operations, improve service delivery, and enhance reporting and analytics.

• Customer Satisfaction: Maintain a customer-centric approach, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.

• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety protocols.

• EOS Implementation: Act as the Implementer within the EOS framework, facilitating the rhythm of meetings, scorecards, and accountability charts to drive organizational discipline.

Qualifications:

• Private Equity Experience: Demonstrated success in leading organizations through private equity transactions, including preparing the company for sale, supporting due diligence, and post-transaction integration efforts. Experience working closely with private equity investors and understanding the intricacies of such deals is required.

• Minimum 5 years of senior management experience in residential plumbing and HVAC operations managing a P&L over $100 million.

• Proven success in scaling multi-unit operations within the residential service industry.

• Extensive experience with ServiceTitan or similar service management software.

• Strong understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and profit optimization.

• Demonstrated ability to implement and sustain EOS or similar operational frameworks.

• Successful track record leading organizations through private equity transactions. Experience in preparing companies for sale, supporting due diligence, and post-deal integration is essential.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
