The Role: Your Day-to-Day Adventures

As our Preschool Teacher, you will be the heart of the classroom, responsible for creating an engaging, safe, and stimulating environment where our little learners can thrive. Your main responsibilities will include:

1. Designing Engaging Activities: Developing and implementing a creative, age-appropriate curriculum based on our play-based philosophy that incorporates literacy, math, science, and social-emotional development.
2. Creating a Nurturing Environment: Maintaining a positive, safe, and organized classroom where all children feel comfortable and excited to learn.
3. Guiding Young Learners: Using positive guidance techniques to support children's social and emotional growth, helping them learn to share, communicate, and solve conflicts.
4. Building Partnerships: Establishing open, friendly, and consistent communication with parents, sharing daily updates, milestones, and celebrating their child's progress.
5. Collaborating: Working closely with your teaching team and the Director to ensure a cohesive and high-quality educational experience.
6. Observing & Assessing: Thoughtfully observing and documenting children's progress to inform lesson planning and assess developmental milestones.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

1. A genuine love for children and a deep understanding of early childhood development.
2. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (or a related field) or equivalent experience/certification required by state licensing.
3. Proven experience working with preschool-age children (ages 3-5).
4. A resourceful and creative approach to problem-solving and lesson planning.
5. Excellent communication skills and a desire to partner effectively with families.
6. A positive, flexible, and energetic attitude—a good sense of humor is a definite plus!
