East Coast Cannabis is seeking a motivated and experienced Pre-Roll Production Team Lead to join our ECC Eliot team. This is a working leadership role responsible for overseeing day-to-day pre-roll production operations while supporting, training, and guiding a team of associates to achieve quality and production goals.
Our Pre-Roll team is a small but efficient group who works together to produce high-end, all-flower pre-rolls from start to finish. The Team Lead will be hands-on in production while also ensuring workflow efficiency, upholding quality standards, and maintaining compliance with all state and company regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the Pre-Roll team, ensuring production goals and quality standards are consistently met.
- Train, coach, and mentor Pre-Roll Production Associates to build skills, maintain high performance, and foster teamwork.
- Oversee workflow scheduling and task assignments
- Monitor quality control of pre-rolls, flower materials, and finished products.
- Maintain accurate records of production output and report to management as needed.
- Assist with hands-on production tasks, including grinding and sifting flower, operating knock box and Roll Pro machines, tipping cones, and inspecting pre-rolls.
- Enforce compliance with ECC’s health, safety, and sanitation standards as well as Maine cannabis regulations.
- Communicate effectively with management and other departments.

Required skills:
- Must be 21 years or older.
- High School diploma or GED required; additional supervisory training or coursework preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in a production environment required; previous supervisory or team lead experience strongly preferred.
- Experience in cannabis processing highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes in policy, procedure, and production needs.
- Acute attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. multiple times daily if necessary.
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to obtain an Individual Identification Card from the Maine Office of Cannabis Policy.
Desired skills:
- Previous experience in a cultivation or post harvest role in a regulated cannabis facility.
