Financial Service Analyst
Pay Rate: $19 per hour, paid weekly
Location of Assignment: Hybrid in Scottsdale, AZ
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Standard business hours
Assignment Length: 6 months, opportunity for extension/conversion pending performance, attendance and business need
Target Start Date: TBD, upon completion of new hire onboarding

Role Overview:
As Financial Service Representative, you will provide prompt efficient service for assigned products and/or service center for internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepares all materials to propose, sell, and establish new plans and set up appropriate records: proposal illustrations, trust agreements, IRS determination reporting, employee communications and client administrative guide, census and plan information on system. Follow-up with appropriate internal administrative areas for completeness and accuracy of the end policy/account product.
  • Reviews and approves requests for withdrawal, exchanges, deposits, annuity purchases, and contract cashouts. Requests additional information when necessary.
  • Compiles management information such as contract and sold case activity as needed by internal management.
  • Communicates with customers, sales force, other departments, regional and/or field offices and other industry companies through oral and written communications. Maintains appropriate records.
  • Approves and processes business in accordance with government regulations, contract provisions, and internal procedures and controls.
  • Provides quality customer service by demonstrating and understanding customer needs and emphasizing timely responses.
  • Research and corrects errors.
  • Demonstrates the initiative and flexibility to identify situations that require exception processing and seek alternatives from more experienced personnel.
Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required; Recent degree in finance, business, insurance, economics, or communications preferred
  • Experience: Three years work experience with two years product-related customer service work experience preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Knowledge of general office practices, customer service, office equipment, and familiarity with insurance/financial services industry practices (e.g., annuities, mutual funds).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, basic mathematics, and proficiency in office filing systems and record-keeping procedures.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills for interacting with customers, team members, and management, along with the ability to prioritize tasks.
