Location: Courtright, ON
Schedule: Rotating Days – 07:00–16:30
Pay Rate: $22.74/hour (after probationary period)

Overview

The Part-time Day Assistant provides security services at the CF Courtright Complex, ensuring the safety of all personnel, assets, and information within the facility. This role requires strong professionalism, communication skills, administrative accuracy, and a commitment to maintaining secure site operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide security services across the CF Courtright Complex, maintaining order, safety, and protection of company assets.
• Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with all personnel entering the site.
• Perform administrative and reception duties, including greeting visitors and forwarding calls to appropriate departments.
• Manage site access control: issue access cards, photo IDs, and ensure access profiles remain current.
• Complete all required access-related documentation and report any security breaches.
• Conduct Safety Orientation videos for approved individuals and assist EHSQ with Contractor Management Program.
• Work with EHSQ to ensure contractor compliance with insurance and WSIB requirements in ISNetworld.
• Manage issuance and logging of office keys, vehicle keys, and vehicle passes per Access Management Program protocols.
• Review and authorize Material Gate/Personal passes; inspect items and verify signatures before release from the site.
• Collect and accurately log daily security statistics.
• Assist with shipping procedures and operate the CF Direct shipping program.
• Perform vehicle and seal inspections as required.
• Report any hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Security Supervisor, Security Manager, or appropriate shift personnel.

Working Conditions

• Mainly day-shift work, with occasional shift coverage for the main gate position

Requirements

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License with a clear driver’s abstract
• Valid First Aid/CPR Level C certificate (WSIB-approved provider)

Nice to Have

• 1+ years of security experience
• Diploma or progress toward a Police Foundations or related field
