Part-Time Crop Field Analyst – Hemp Farm

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented **Field Analyst** to support ongoing operations at a hemp farm in Springfield, CO. This is a part-time, flexible opportunity ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work outdoors, has a basic understanding of cultivation, and is looking for potential long-term growth in the agricultural or cannabis industry.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Walk the farm's pivots and fields 2–3 times per week to:
* Monitor sprinkler systems and ensure they are functioning properly
* Conduct general field assessments and check crop health
* Act as a secondary point of oversight for farming operations
* Take clear photos and videos of field conditions during visits
* Report any concerns, irregularities, or maintenance needs
* Perform basic sprinkler troubleshooting and repair (preferred but not required)
* Conduct full field analysis twice per month
* Assist in sample collection (scheduled for approx. one month from start date)
* Provide consistent updates and communication with the farm team
**Qualifications:**
* Dependable and proactive with excellent communication skills
* Comfortable walking long distances in field conditions
* Physically healthy and capable of outdoor labor in varying weather
* Baseline knowledge of cultivation, farming, or irrigation systems is a plus
* Ability to work independently and provide regular reporting
* Must be trustworthy and detail-oriented
