Because cannabis is a highly regulated industry, all employees must strictly adhere to safety, compliance, and quality standards at all times. * * * ### Essential Functions #### Plant Care & Cultivation - Top, bottom, transplant, defoliate, and train plants - Maintain and tend to various growing media - Monitor plant health and scout for disease, pests, or abnormalities - Follow national cultivation models, SOPs, and quality standards - Accurately document plant care activities as required #### Harvest Responsibilities (Smaller Sites) - Prepare cultivation rooms for harvest - Harvest and take down plants - Defoliate and break plants into smaller sections - Hang plants on drying racks - Clean and reset dry and flower rooms between harvest cycles #### Sanitation & Facility Maintenance - Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing - Clean and maintain plant housing equipment and grow tables - Maintain plant pots and cultivation tools - Report maintenance or equipment issues to management for timely resolution * * * ### Safety & Compliance - Maintain awareness of potential workplace hazards - Complete and retain all department-specific training - Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and state regulations - Adhere to GMP, biosecurity, sanitation, and quality standards - Accurately complete required recordkeeping - Maintain, clean, and calibrate tools and equipment as directed - Report and escalate safety, quality, or compliance concerns immediately * * * ### Working Conditions - Regularly required to reach, bend, stoop, grasp, and perform repetitive motions - Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods while remaining focused - Must safely lift, carry, and balance up to 50 pounds with care - Work in environments exceeding 85°F with up to 70% humidity - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment - Ability to work at heights of 6–8 feet using catwalks, ladders, and scaffolding - Daily exposure to allergens, including cannabis, tree nuts, and coconut oil * * * ### Qualifications - High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or relevant certifications preferred - Prior cannabis industry experience is **not required** * * * ### Additional Requirements - Must be at least 21 years of age - Valid state-issued ID required - Ability pass a background check
