Location: Cadillac Fairview – 15 York Street, Toronto, ON
Pay Rate: $22/hour
Schedule: Continental Nights (19:00–07:00)
Overtime: Averaging Agreement (OT after 88 hours)
Employment Type: Full-Time Nights

About the Role

We’re looking for a dedicated Security Supervisor to lead night operations at Cadillac Fairview – Maple Leaf Square (15 York Street) in downtown Toronto. In this role, you’ll supervise a small team, ensure safety across the property, and maintain a professional, visible presence that upholds Cadillac Fairview’s standards for guest experience and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a team of 1–3 security guards
• Conduct patrols and ensure site compliance with safety and property rules
• Respond proactively to emergencies and incidents
• Liaise with property management and site leadership
• Provide exceptional service to tenants, visitors, and guests
• Maintain detailed reports through the site’s incident management system
• Support and enforce access control and property regulations
• Assist law enforcement and first responders when required
• Participate in scheduled training and development sessions

Requirements

Must-Have Criteria

• Clean Criminal Record
• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
• Valid First Aid & CPR – Level C (WSIB approved)
• At least 2 years of supervisory or team lead experience in security
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
• Proof of double COVID-19 vaccination
• Legally authorized to work full-time in Canada
• Availability for 3–5 days of weekday training before starting

Nice-to-Have (Optional)

• Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB) certification
• Use of Force in Class Training certification
