Description

As a Mental Health Therapist at Teladoc Health, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and effective support to individuals seeking mental wellness. Your typical day will involve conducting therapy sessions, assessing patients’ needs, developing tailored treatment plans, and utilizing evidence-based practices to address a variety of mental health concerns, including PTSD, depression, and anxiety disorders. Through a combination of telehealth technology and your clinical expertise, you will empower patients to improve their mental health and overall well-being.

Requirements

• 3+ years of post-licensure experience in providing independent, unsupervised therapy within a clinical setting.
• Active California or Maryland license (LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC) with the ability to treat patients independently.
• Proven experience using evidence-based practices, especially for PTSD, depression, and anxiety disorders.
• Master’s degree (or higher) in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited program.
• Experience in assessing, diagnosing, and preparing comprehensive treatment plans.
• A strong sense of clinical judgment, empathy, and a genuine passion for enhancing mental wellness.
• Familiarity and comfort with electronic health records (EHRs) and telehealth technology.
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses (we’ll cover the costs).

• Experience with a diverse range of mental health conditions and varied patient populations.
• Proficiency in additional therapeutic modalities or approaches.
• Previous experience in a telehealth setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients quickly.
