Overview

Maximum Healthcare Solutions is partnering with a clinic in Chicago, IL to hire Medical Assistants (MA) for a direct hire, full-time opportunity. This role is ideal for experienced Medical Assistants who thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment and are comfortable rotating between multiple clinic locations.

In addition to competitive pay, we offer holiday pay, insurance, and a $250 referral bonus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients for appointments

• Answer phones and assist with call triage

• Verify insurance, collect copays, and scan patient IDs

• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments

• Manage patient flow and update appointment statuses in EMR

• Room patients and record vitals (BP, pulse, temperature, height/weight, pain, allergies)

• Enter and update patient demographics in EMR

• Review patient registration forms for completeness

• Upload and rename documents in EMR

• Translate for patients when applicable

• Dispense in-house pharmacy medications

• Process urine specimens

• Prepare for procedures (consents, injection logs, supply restocking, sharps safety)

• Send and receive faxes

• Request MRI reports and schedule recommended MRI exams

• Handle PI/WC referrals and visit summaries

• Respond to emails and voicemails

• Manage no-shows and rescheduling

• Handle patient complaints professionally

• Complete end-of-day documentation and payment tallies

• Ensure exam rooms are clean and ready

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience

• Medical Assistant Diploma

• Ability to rotate between 2–3 clinic locations per week

• Ability to complete training at the Midway location (first 3–4 days)
