Description

As a Medical Assistant at IMCS Group, you will play a crucial role in supporting our healthcare team in providing exceptional patient care. Your typical day will involve working closely with physicians and nursing staff, performing clinical tasks, managing patient records, and ensuring a smooth operation within the practice. You will assist in preparing patients for examinations, taking vital signs, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) months of previous experience in a healthcare setting.
• Successful completion of initial Medical Assistant onboarding within 90 days, including an annual skills fair and in-services for site-specific tasks.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Current BLS Certification required upon hire or within 60 days of hire upon approval.

Nice to Have

• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Successful completion of an Accredited National Certification Exam for Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is preferred.
