Meadow Ridge Construction LLC is a licensed general contractor serving the Charleston, WV area and surrounding region.

We are seeking a WV-licensed Master Electrician to join our skilled team. The Master Electrician will work on a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial projects, ensuring high-quality, code-compliant installations and repairs.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced electrician to contribute to exciting projects and help mentor junior electricians within a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Perform frame carpentry as needed for electrical installs

• Work with low voltage and high voltage systems

• Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC)

• Utilize power tools and equipment safely

• Source or fabricate replacement electrical components as needed

• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs

• Guide and oversee apprentices or journeyman electricians

• Obtain necessary permits, equipment, tools, and materials

• Update project records and prepare reports for clients

• Collaborate with other trades on renovation projects

• Maintain a clean and organized worksite

• Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and team members

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• WV Master Electrician License (Required)

• Valid driver’s license

• Proven experience as a Master Electrician in residential, commercial, and industrial settings

• Proficiency with power tools and equipment used in electrical and construction work

• Strong skills in blueprint reading and technical specifications

• Familiarity with both low voltage and high voltage systems

• Firm knowledge of NEC regulations

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Physical strength and stamina for manual labor and field work

Schedule

• Full-time — 40–50 hours/week

• 8-hour shifts

• Day shift, Monday to Friday

• Overtime as needed

• Year-round work
