Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Overview:

Seaside Property Group is looking for a dependable and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team in San Diego, CA. The right candidate will have a solid background in general maintenance and repair, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards across our properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems

• Respond promptly to work orders and emergency maintenance requests

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify issues

• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and safety checks

• Collaborate with property management, vendors, and other technicians as needed

• Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety standards

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities technician role

• Strong knowledge of building systems, tools, and repair techniques

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues

• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks

• Strong communication and time management skills

• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to San Diego, CA

Preferred Qualifications:

• EPA 608 Certification or HVAC experience

• OSHA 10/30 Certification

• Experience with work order software or digital maintenance tracking systems
