Pay Rate: $25.00-$28.00/hour

Overview

As a Maintenance Technician with PeopleScout, you will ensure the proper functioning, upkeep and safety of facility equipment, systems and building infrastructure. You’ll perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and support a safe, efficient operational environment. This role fits someone who is technically capable, solution-oriented, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems and building components

• Troubleshoot malfunctions and make corrective repairs in a timely manner

• Maintain and repair facility equipment, tools and machines

• Document maintenance activities, schedule work orders and complete reports

• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and off-hour duties as required

• Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations

• Maintain a clean and organized maintenance area, tools and spare parts inventory

• Communicate maintenance needs and status updates to supervisors and facility managers

Requirements

Must-Have:

• Previous maintenance technician or facility maintenance experience

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and manuals

• Proficiency in electrical, plumbing or HVAC repair and maintenance

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Nice-to-Have:

• Trade certifications (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) or technical diploma

• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)

• Emergency/after-hours availability and flexible scheduling
