We’re hiring a Maintenance Mechanic to join our Plant Technical Services team at the Golden, Colorado Brewery, working within our Process Waste Treatment Plant (Industrial Wastewater Treatment). As part of the Lower Valley Utilities team, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance and reliability of wastewater treatment assets that keep our brewery and facilities running smoothly.

🛠️ What You’ll Do
Inspect, maintain, and repair wastewater treatment machinery and equipment: pumps, valves, motors, drives, compressors, tanks, and chemical feed systems
Install, rebuild, and service pumps, motors, piping systems, and specialized equipment
Operate fabrication tools: welding, cutting, and general fabrication equipment
Perform preventive maintenance checks, inspections, and equipment modifications
Maintain accurate maintenance records in SAP
Respond to emergencies after hours and on weekends as needed
Collaborate with peers to cover other plants in the Lower Valley Utilities Department
Work safely at all times and train new employees when needed
✅ Key Ingredients (Requirements)
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Experience: At least 2 years maintaining a wastewater treatment facility
License: Valid Colorado Driver’s License with a clean driving record
Environment: Ability to work in noisy, dusty, and potentially hazardous conditions (chemicals, gases, H2S, confined spaces, etc.)
Physical: Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, lift moderate to heavy weights, climb ladders/stairs, and work near moving mechanical parts
Availability: Must be available for emergencies during off-shift hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
