Job Description
We are seeking a Machine Operator to set up, maintain, and operate machinery in a manufacturing or production environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with industrial machines, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to workplace safety and efficiency. This role requires technical proficiency, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues.
Set up machines before production runs and ensure they are working correctly.
Operate and monitor machinery, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality output.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent malfunctions.
Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and report major malfunctions to maintenance personnel.
Follow production schedules and meet output targets while maintaining product quality.
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality control standards.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents.
Keep work areas clean and organized to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
Record production data, machine performance, and any issues encountered.
Assist in training new operators or team members as needed.
Machine Operation Experience – Minimum of [X] years of experience operating industrial or manufacturing machinery.
Mechanical Aptitude – Ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform routine maintenance.
Attention to Detail – Strong ability to monitor product quality and follow safety protocols.
Physical Stamina – Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment.
Knowledge of machine calibration, tool changes, and production optimization.
Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance procedures.
Basic computer skills for logging production data.
Forklift certification (if required for material handling).
Must be comfortable working in noisy, high-temperature, or high-speed production environments.
Requires standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive movements throughout the shift.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection may be required.
May require overtime, weekend shifts, or rotating schedules.
