Meadow Ridge Logging LLC is a growing, locally-owned logging and forestry business based near Kenna, West Virginia.

We are a team-focused company committed to safe, responsible timber harvesting and high-quality work. Our crews work on a variety of logging projects in the surrounding region, and we are looking for skilled Loggers to join our team and grow with us.


Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Logger to join our crew. In this role, you’ll be responsible for harvesting, processing, and transporting timber using chainsaws, skidders, bulldozers, and other forestry equipment.

You’ll work on various job sites across the region, with a focus on precision, safety, and sustainable practices.


Key Responsibilities

  • Harvest, process, and transport timber in line with industry regulations and best practices

  • Assess and prepare logging sites for safe operation

  • Operate chainsaws, skidders, bulldozers, and other logging equipment

  • Read and interpret forestry maps, topographical data, and harvest plans

  • Practice proper felling, bucking, and loading techniques to maximize yield

  • Maintain a safe, organized worksite

  • Coordinate with team members, drivers, and forestry professionals

  • Follow all environmental and safety guidelines, and company policies


Requirements

Required:

  • 4+ years of experience in Logging or Forestry

  • Proficiency in using chainsaws, skidders, bulldozers, heavy equipment

  • Ability to read forestry maps, terrain data, blueprints

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (CDL a plus)

  • Physical strength and stamina for manual labor and outdoor work

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Preferred:

  • Experience with selective harvesting, sustainable forestry

  • Familiarity with environmental regulations and best practices


Schedule

  • Full-time

  • 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday

  • Overtime as needed

  • Year-round work — not seasonal
