Role Summary
The role within FSL Operations is responsible for servicing a loan portfolio consisting of both bilateral and syndicated loans. The portfolio includes facilities where the firm is the sole lender of record, the administrative agent and lender on syndicated facilities, or a participating lender in a third-party agent's syndicate.
 
Duties

• Processing borrowing/funding and settlement/paydown requests received from clients or agents via email into internal books and records.
• Preparation and distribution of notices (e.g., funding, paydown, rate-set, etc.) to clients and/or syndicate lenders.
• Preparation and distribution of periodic interest and fee invoices to clients; for facilities with a third-party agent, reconciling interest and fees with agent notices and processing them into books and records.
• Performing daily reviews of exception/break reports (including cash suspense and past-due items) and taking appropriate actions to resolve discrepancies.
• Handling ongoing and ad hoc inquiries/requests from clients, third-party agents (if applicable), and internal stakeholders (e.g., Business Unit, Financial Controllers).

 
Top Skills

• Experience in direct lending or syndicated loans (minimum 1–3 years).
• Proficiency in Word and Excel is essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of the financial services industry is a plus, along with familiarity with Loan and cash reconciliation systems.
