HireArt is helping a global leader in AI development find a Language Auditor Lead II - French (Full-Time) to train generative artificial intelligence models in specialty domains and oversee the auditors working on these projects.

We are looking for a specialist who is a native French speaker that can review and audit complex and varied data to ensure the highest levels of accuracy/consistency are met while managing and supporting a team responsible for producing high-quality audit work. You should have a background in translation, linguistics, or professional writing, a strong attention to detail, and a desire to play a critical part in the development of the next generation of cutting-edge technology. Translators, interpreters, educators, academic linguists, and professional writers are highly encouraged to apply.

In this role, you will be assigned to evaluate work done by others that is being produced for specific, high-priority projects. You may work remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

As an AI Language Auditor Lead II - French, you will:

• Audit work produced for various language projects used to train generative AI models.

• Audit original and challenging prompts for an AI model to respond to.

• Audit edited responses that were produced by an AI model and edited by a person.

• Assess whether a piece of text produced by an AI model is factually accurate.

• Work 30 to 40 hours per week. M-F, 8 hours per weekday is preferred, but flexible.

• Attend 2-4 recurring weekly meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (ideally in Linguistics or Communications)

• Native fluency in French

• 10+ years of experience leading and managing teams, including managing remote teams

• At least one of the following: a postgraduate degree conducted in French, French translation experience, or professional French writing/editing experience

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistency in spotting writing errors and inconsistencies

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Editing experience

• Interest in AI and machine learning concepts

• Native fluency in English or another language

Commitment: This is a full-time (30-40 hours per week), ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt. It is remote and available to U.S.-based candidates, excluding California, with preference given to candidates who can work M-F, 8 hours per day with some flexibility.
